I also wrote monthly for the Glitch newsletter, reaching a community of 5 million+ developers. I build audience-specific newsletters and test content with relevant audiences, so what gets sent is based on what readers actually want, not guesses.

I cannot fulfill these needs and don’t want to waste either of our time or energies.

How we’d work together

  1. Intro chat. Email me and tell me about your team and what’s not working. We’ll figure out together whether it’s a good fit, with no pressure either way.
  2. Scoping. I’ll propose a focused scope: what we’ll produce, how we’ll collaborate, and what success looks like.
  3. Research, testing & feedback. Good voice and strategy work needs time to listen to your audience, try things, and refine them. I work mostly async, with check-ins that fit your team’s rhythm.
  4. Handoff. You get guides and content systems your team can keep using long after I’ve gone.

What to expect

  • Length: I prefer to work together for at least a quarter, so there’s ample time for research, testing, and feedback.
  • Rate: Scoped per project, with flexibility for open source budgets.
  • Format: Contract or retainer, remote unless you’re in the Kansas City Metro (through Summer 2027).
